Wedding Film Policy
Booking and payment
A production date is reserved only after the written proposal is accepted and the stated booking payment is received. Unless the proposal says otherwise, the booking payment is 50 percent of the project price and is non-refundable because it reserves production capacity and begins custom work.
The remaining balance is due before delivery of the unwatermarked master and venue-ready files. Several approved contributors may share the cost, but one customer remains responsible for project decisions and for ensuring that the full balance is paid on time.
Reviews and revisions
The project proposal identifies the review stages included in the price. A standard wedding-film workflow includes review of the first character direction, the planned story or key scenes, and the edited film. Feedback must be consolidated and submitted by the agreed deadlines.
Included revisions correct or refine work within the approved creative direction. A new story direction, additional scenes, new characters, replacement source material, major changes after approval, or work requested after included review stages may require a revised quote and schedule.
No satisfaction refund
Because each film is custom-made and production time cannot be resold, payments are not refundable because of a change in taste, a recipient’s reaction, or dissatisfaction with elements that were previously approved. YOUniqueFilms will use the included review stages to resolve reasonable concerns within the agreed scope.
Customer cancellation
If you cancel, the booking payment remains non-refundable. Additional amounts are also non-refundable to the extent that they cover work already performed, approved third-party costs, or production time that was reserved for the project.
If a cancellation occurs before all paid value has been earned, any treatment of the remaining balance will be stated in writing after the completed work and committed costs are reviewed.
Cancellation by YOUniqueFilms
If YOUniqueFilms cannot complete the agreed project for reasons within its control, we may offer a revised delivery plan, suitable replacement work, or a refund of the portion paid for work that has not been delivered. This is the customer’s remedy for an undelivered portion of the project.
Deadlines and customer delays
Wedding delivery depends on receiving photographs, story information, approvals, and payments by the dates in the production schedule. Late materials or feedback may reduce available revision time or move delivery. We will tell you promptly if a delay threatens the planned premiere.
Venue coordination
With your introduction and permission, YOUniqueFilms will coordinate file and playback requirements with the venue, planner, DJ, or audiovisual team. We provide a standard venue-ready file and recommend a complete test on the equipment that will be used. The venue and its suppliers remain responsible for their equipment, internet connection, staffing, and live playback.
Music and third-party material
Music is subject to licensing and usage restrictions. Share songs that matter to you, and we will discuss licensed or customer-authorized options that fit the private screening and intended uses. A preferred commercial recording cannot be guaranteed.
Private surprise projects
We can use discreet project communication and work with one partner as the sole contact. You remain responsible for controlling access to your email, devices, shared photo accounts, and venue communications. YOUniqueFilms cannot guarantee secrecy where another person has access to those systems.
Policy acceptance
Your signed proposal may add or replace terms for a particular project. By approving a proposal that refers to this policy, you confirm that you have read and accepted it. Questions may be sent to michaelcalcada@gmail.com.
