Privacy Policy

Your photographs, stories, and private details are the raw material of a personal film. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and how we protect it.

Information we collect

We collect information that you provide through our website, email, consultations, payment process, and production workflow. This can include names, contact details, wedding information, photographs, video, audio, written memories, voice notes, relationship details, and creative feedback.

We may also collect basic technical information about visits to our website, such as device type, browser information, referring pages, and site interactions.

How we use information

We use information to answer inquiries, prepare quotes, plan and produce films, request approvals, coordinate delivery, support venue playback, process payments, maintain business records, protect the service, and improve the website.

Animation and AI-assisted production tools may process supplied materials when needed to visualize characters, places, and scenes. Human creative direction, selection, editing, and review remain part of the production process.

Private projects and marketing

Your inquiry, source materials, and completed film are private by default. We do not publish a customer film, story, name, or likeness in our portfolio, advertising, or social media without separate permission.

You can withdraw future marketing permission at any time. Withdrawal does not require us to remove material from a completed campaign or publication that you previously approved, where removal is no longer reasonably possible.

Service providers

We may share information with service providers that help us host the website, deliver email, store production files, process payments, create film assets, or operate the business. They receive only the information needed for their work. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

We retain source photographs, video, audio, and story materials while a project is active and for up to 90 days after final delivery, unless the project agreement requires a different period. After that period, we remove them from active production storage. Limited copies may remain in routine encrypted backups until those backups are replaced.

We may keep contracts, invoices, approvals, correspondence, and other business records for the period required for accounting, legal, security, and dispute-resolution purposes. You should keep your own copies of every source file and delivered film.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect customer information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please do not send passwords, financial account numbers, government identifiers, or unrelated sensitive records.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information that we control, subject to legal and operational requirements. Contact michaelcalcada@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
